Hoping the hangovers aren't too awful today! I was very restrained (for once in my life ) Sooo...2017 will be the year we finally finish our house. Apart from a full loft and cellar conversion we are hoping all the other main areas will be DONE and then I get to purchase a carpet for upstairs. YES!!! The bar is going to get a serious bashing this weekend. The family are coming to stay and we're hosting a bonfire party on Saturday night. Started out with a few friends and their little ones. I don't know my arse from my elbow this week and I think everyone is feeling the same today. I'm pretty sure going to work in the pitch black and coming home in darkness isn't good for the soul. My husband is a full time 'Bonny & Clyder' but as some of you know I also have other responsibilities, including Year Leading in a very challenging school. The day ended with being told to 'shut up' by an aggressive and belligerent parent. When you invest more time in other people's children than you often do in your own personal life, it's a bitter pill to swallow. Soooo that wine right there is getting drunk and I shall cook a half decent tea for my husband who frequently suffers from listening to the crap us teachers put up with #storiesofmylife #cornerofmyhome #myhomevibe

 

 

 

I've realised this morning that I actually quite like cooking if A) I don't have to do it in the week B) if I'm doing it alone and C) if I'm not absolutely knackered. I have rustled up a slow cook chilli for tea tonight ( which lets be honest, a blind chimp could make) whilst the husband smashes up the bathroom upstairs.
