Well I've got the orders packed and photographed some more new stock. Now cleaning the house, as have my in-laws coming to dinner this evening. Bathroom has been scrubbed until it gleams. Next it's hoovering and floor washing. When it's all done, sending the gang out on a bike ride so they can't mess it up again, and I'll have a couple of hours quiet to start restocking the Etsy shop! Well we're back from the hospital and thankfully it's only a sprain and lots of bruising. I've got her up to her bedroom, which was slow going up two flights of stairs, and she's having a little nap now. I'm ready for bed myself, but stuff to do. Well I fed the gang and then decided to get the paintbrushes out. Was only supposed to be touching in the tongue and groove panelling around the bath, but as it's the same colour in the kitchen, did that too. That made the wooden training boards look scruffy, so gave those a fresh coat aswell, before going over the French windows to cover up Lulu's scratch marks. Oh, and I oiled the work top around the sink. Going to stop now I think! X #painting #decorating #mybathroom #diy

 

 

 

 

Well I'm back from my adventures with some Christmas presents and also a pile of gorgeous new stock. A vintage wooden crate, a vintage velvet evening bag with jewelled clasp, a stylish Art Deco toast rack with butter dish, a huge 19th Century Sheffield plate candlestick, another lovely vintage pure wool tartan blanket, two 1930s tin money boxes in the shape of childrens books, an antique white stoneware pouring bowl, a beautiful 1920s lacquered box, a divine antique mother of pearl coin purse, a pair of tiny Edwardian child's brown leather boots and a pair of darling little Edwardian little girls brown leather shoes. It's just too dark for pics now, but can't wait to show you it all tomorrow! Morning lovelies, Firstly I'd like to thank you all for your comments, messages and kindness last night after I posted about mum. I've just spoken to her, and she seems so much better. Hopefully, with lots of rest she'll get stronger. I say "with lots of rest", she's talking about ironing and cooking chicken soup today, lol! It's such a beautiful day here so was up extra early. Already have washing on the line, the stairs have had another coat of paint, quick drying this time, and I'm about to start work on that trunk I mentioned yesterday. Time for a quick cuppa in the garden first though!
